Our Very Thankful Anniversary

This year we celebrated 4 years of wedded bliss. This year our Anniversary happened to fall on Thanksgiving Day. We definitely had something to be extra thankful for this year. The only unfortunate thing about the day was we didn't get to spend it together. Boe had to work all day. It was hard having to spend a major holiday and our Anniversary apart for the first time. Hopefully we will get to celebrate soon. I am So blessed to have married such a wonderful man and to be sealed to him for all eternity. Our 4 years of marriage haven't always been the easiest and 2011 has brought many trials and heartaches but I am so grateful to have him by my side. I know I couldn't get through these hard times without him by my side. He is my best friend and the man of my dreams. I love you Boe

Fall Fun!

About a month ago my cousin Emily and Ian came to visit me from Utah! It was so good to see them! I hadn't seen Ian since before his mission and Emily in about a year! The night they got here we went to Buffalo Wild Wings and then came home and watched Lion King in 3D. Which by the way is AMAZING. And stayed up way to late catching up. The next day we slept in and Ian made us a fabulous breakfast! After that we went to Bear World! I have always wanted to go but Boe never wants to take me because he says we live in Idaho and we don't have to pay to see wildlife (which is probably true) but it was still fun! We loved seeing all the animals and the petting zoo was a hoot! Especially when Ian kept getting kicked by the baby deer! Most of the bears already had a jump start on their hibernation but they were still fun to look at! After Bear World we hit up the mall and got some yummy smelling candles at Bath and Body. That night Emily and I drank apple cider, watched Young Frankenstein, and made homemade caramel apples rolled in crushed up Halloween oreo's. They didn't look beautiful but they were soo good! I'm thinking I need to make them again. It was a fun 2 days that went by way to fast! Can't wait for them to visit again!

Boe's B-day!

Oct 6th is also Boe's birthday! Poor guy had to spend his 28th birthday working and cutting up a tree. I hadn't seen Boe in a few days because we work opposite shifts occasionally so I made sure he felt loved on his birthday. I got him a bouquet of balloons (which our dog was petrified of, so funny), hung a banner, and wrapped all his presents. It was all waiting for him when he came home from work! We weren't able to celebrate his birthday on the actual day because we both worked. But we did have a birthday celebration at Red Robin on Saturday! So happy this guy was born so I could marry him! He is such a wonderful stand up guy and I'm so lucky that he is mine.

First Snowstorm!

Oct 6th was Idahos first snowfall of the year. And we got a ton! When I left for work that morning at 6 it was raining and by the end of my shift the snow was coming down like crazy.

And this is what I got to come home to....

Yup that's right our neighbors tree that hangs over into our yard totally broke and crashed into our yard. Almost hit the house and my mother in-law. It was huge and in the middle of the road. Poor Boe and his dad spent hours cutting up the tree and taking it to the dump. Our first snowfall started off with a bang! Hopefully we wont have anymore trees falling for the rest of winter!

Boise Trip

This past weekend we went over to Boise for the football game. I haven't been to a college football game in a few years so it was fun to be able to go again. It was super hot for the first half of the game which was a little uncomfortable but it cooled off nicely once the sun went down. We had great seats close to the field. Boise played great and won! Aside from the game we did a tiny bit of shopping and hung out with family.

Our last night in Boise Boe and I stayed in a hotel. Super comfy beds. Best night sleep we had in awhile and it was greatly needed. When I got up in the morning to shower I got this nice surprise. It was huge and ugly! So happy I have a hubby who kills scary yucky things for me!

This past week was the East Idaho State Fair. We went down 2 days and had so much fun. Probably my favorite year yet. We ate too much fair food (that was so good), saw some cute animals, magician, hypnotist, crafts, and an amazing concert! We saw Ronnie Dunn in concert and he was AMAZING. Seriously he sounds so good live and put on a great show. He even played lots of his songs from when he was Brooks and Dunn. It was my first concert with Boe which made it all the more special. Hope we can do it again real soon.

Our Kayley is not a puppy anymore. We have hit our year mark with her. She is bigger than we expected. We still love her even though she can be a pill. She still can't keep her tongue to her self and has to lick you at every chance she gets. Her tail is a weapon that never stops moving. We love her despite her annoying habits and spoil her to bits. She has truly brightened our lives and fits in with us so well.

We had a great 4th of July! It started out early in hopes of making it to the parade but unfortunately we missed it. We headed over to the river and walked around to the different booths they had and enjoyed a snow cone. After that we went and saw Thor at the cheap theater. It was actually a better movie than I thought it would be and it was nice to get out of the heat for a couple hours. We headed home so I could fix up these tasty 4th of July themed treats. I had a blast making these festive treats! Boe told me they were delicious. We didnt go to the river to watch the fireworks this year, Boe didnt want to deal with all the crowds so we ended up watching the fireworks from the side of the highway. It actually ended up being a fabulous view. Plus our local radio station broadcasts the music during the fireworks. Overall it was a fantastic day!

Soo..this is a very long belated post due to the fact this happend over the summer. I am very behind on my blogging. Anyways when my sister Sayward got married this past summer my parents came up to Idaho after for a few days. We went up to Island Park to Boe's grandparent's cabin. We had a blast! We floated the river on a drift boat and tried to do some fishing. The ride was super bumpy. We kept hitting rocks every 10 mins or so. Boe was always having to steer us away or off the rocks. It was fun nevertheless. The water was beautiful and it was so relaxing. I love being out in nature! I love all the sounds and smells. We went over to Mesa Falls which was beautiful. Waterfalls are breathtaking. One of the funnest things we were able to do on this trip was go to the Max Inn Playhouse for dinner one night. They serve you dinner (which was yummy) and desssert and then theres a funny show! The show was a spoof on Pirates of the Caribbean. The guy who played Jack was hilarious! Overall it was a blast and I cant wait to do it again! Us with Jack Sprat

We got a puppy!! This post is a little late considering we have had her for 2 months already! We sure love her! She has truly brightened our lives and brought some stress along to! Getting a dog was not part of our plan, but we saw her and fell in love! She is a hound/boxer mix! We got her when she was 10 weeks old and now she is almost 5 months! Everyone always tells us how adorable she is and how huge she will be! (we sure hope not) She is a huge mammas girl that loves to give kisses. We have the potty training down pat for the most part. She does tend to tinkle when new people come over because she gets so excited to see them! She is a lot of work..but totally worth it....most days! We love you Kayley!

I Graduated!!!

I'm finally done!! Woo Whoo! What a loong year it has been! But it has been such a wonderful one! I have had some wonderful experiences and have made some great friends! I feel so blessed! This year had its hard and stressful times but it was so worth it! I am so happy to finally be a nurse!! I have waited so long! All thats left is boards and my first job as a nurse! Im so nervous but I know I can do it! I just want to thank my wonderful loving husband for ALL his support this past year.I know I have slacked on my wife duties this past year so thanks for always being so patient. I couldnt have done it without you sweetie! And I would also like to thank my parents for putting me through nursing school and to my mom for always being my cheerleader. Whether I was jumping for joy, venting, or crying she was always there for me, I dont think I could have made it this far without her love and guidance! And thank you to everyone else for your kind words and support I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends! I did it!!

Spring is in the Air!

The Biggest News we have this month is that BOE HAS A JOB!! Finally!! We are so thrilled!! He was offered the job while I was gone in Chicago and should be starting in a week or so. He is going to be working out at the INL Site as a guard. We are so excited to have a more steady income coming in and we are eager to find a place of our own! We feel so blessed! Boe is excited to be busy once again and working full time! School is going great for me still stressful but only a month left of this semester! The summer should be much easier! I graduate in May since my school doesnt have a graduation ceremony in July. This past month I was able to go see my wonderful family in Chicago for a week! It was a blast! Loved being able to spend so much time with my parents, all my sisters, and cute nephews! We were even able to talk to Robbie on the phone when he was at the airport leaving for Chili! We went, shopping, ate at all my favorite places, Brookfield Zoo, Dupage Childrens Museum, Was able to do my first session at the Chicago Temple, bike ride, and just relax! Thank you so much Mom and Dad for flying me home! It was a wonderful spring break! And I finally got to meet my Sister Sayward's Fiance Matt! He is awesome and I am so happy for them! She is going to be a Gorgeous bride! Life is so great these days and we couldnt be happier!!

I highly recommend the book The Hunger Games! It was amazing!! I had heard that it was good but had no clue what it was about and I was blown away! I read it in a day and a half! Im eager to read the second book but have decided its my reward at the end of this semester! So if you haven't read it you totally should!

In the middle of March my wonderful cousin came to visit us again! Its such a treat everytime she comes and we love having her! We ate at the Pinapple Grill in Rexburg, saw Sherlock Holmes (which was amazing except the couple in front of us made out the entire time and the people behind kept laughing at nothing), ate yummy Magic Brownie Ice cream (which we got her hooked on), watched couples retreat (so funny), had fun at target as always,gave her her first Craigos pizza experience, and slept in! It was loads of fun and hope she comes back soon!

Our Crazy Busy Life

Life lately has been a bit more hectic than usual. Which is not all bad. Boe has been busy painting once again. He has also had a few job opportunities comes his way which we are very excited for and hope work out! He is loving his new calling and really enjoys the Priests. After their Tuesday night activities they all get together and play a few games of basketball which he loves. He is getting eager for the snow to go away so he can start riding his dirt bike once again. I am busy as usual Life feels like this a lot these days:

I am still loving school for the most part but I am getting eager to graduate. School seems to be more stressful this semester and plain frustrating at times. I am loving all the new skills I have learned. IV's are pretty awesome! This past week was especially hard. I swear I had an emotional break down on Thursday over everything..luckily I have the most amazing mom and husband who let me cry and vent to them all the time. My husband took me to get some ice cream and promised cuddle time to cheer me up after class on Thursday. The best thing that happened that day was discovering my new favorite ice cream!

It is so yummy! Tastes so much like this ice cream I love in Cincinnati Ohio where my G-ma lives. I have been craving it so much and finally found one that tastes practically the same! I am also so thankful for the wonderful classmates I have that keep me going . I am so blessed to have found some great friends this past year I dont think I could survive without them! On a lighter note I have been able to accomplish a few things on my list! We made homemade chocolate fondue with some friends of ours a few weeks ago for dessert! It was yummy and we bought lots of fun and yummy things to dip in it. We went to a new resturant a couple weeks ago, it was new for me but not for Boe so it only half counts. And I have cooked 2 new recipies so far! I have been knitting whenever I have a spare minute so I can get a few projects done before the end of March. I will post some pics of the finished products sometime. I just bought this book tonight and I am so excited to start this 40 day journey!
Well thats about everything new with us! Nothing to exciting were pretty boring! : )

I have been reminiscing this past week to 3 years ago when Boe asked me to be his wife. Best decision I ever made. He proposed on February 23rd at the Signature Room in Downtown Chicago. I was so excited to be his wife and start OUR family! Here is an email he sent me 3 years ago, its super cheesy and sappy but I love it so much. It still warms my heart and makes me giddy to this day. (He would spank me if he knew I posted this)

You are the most precious thing on this earth and I hope you know the depth of my love for you! He's a Missionary!!

My little brother Robbie reported to the MTC today! He is going to the Chili Orsono mission. I am so proud of him! I know he is going to be a wonderful missionary to the Chileans! I still can't believe he is going to be gone for 2 whole years and I only get to talk to him once a year.l What a wonderful brother I have.My family is so proud and excited for our first missionary!! Can't wait to get my first letter! I love you Elder Blotter!!

I think 2010 is going to be our year I can just feel it! We are so excited for a fresh new year and all the wonderful things it can bring! Its been awhile since I updated so here is a quick one. We spent Christmas with the Gilstrap Family this year and it was great except for me being sick for all of it..started with the flu..fever,sore throat, puking, soo achy, exhausted..than I totally lost my voice and when I did have it I sounded like a 12 year old boy going through puberty, and than it ended with lovely congestion and a cough. No fun! Only positive thing from being sick is that I lost 10lbs! I have 10 more to go and than I should finally be back at my prewedding weight! Our New Years was great we went over to Boe's grandparents house and played texas holdem and 21 I totally dominated and it was my first time! Finished the night off with The Hangover (the edited version) ,All About Steve, 1 1/2 bottles of Martineles and a kiss at midnight! Having a month off of school was wonderful it was great to just relax but it has sure been hard to get back into the swing of things! This semester is going to kick my butt! But on the bright side 6 months till graduation!! Boe is doing great still looking for work, we are hoping something sticks soon! But in the mean time he still works for his grandfather whenever there is work. He is currently working on getting fit and in shape for a guard job he applied for at the INL Site. He received a calling in our ward in Nov. he is one of the Priest Advisors and is very excited and can't wait to do some scouting! This Year we decided to make some Resolutions/Goals. Here are a few:

*Go to the temple together at least once a month

*Get our own Apt

*Get out of debt

*Keep better track of money/expenses

*Loose weight,eat healthier,get in shape

We are very excited and hope that we can achieve and keep all of these! Sorry no pictures we are really bad at that! We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and are doing great!

Tuesday the 15th was my 23rd birthday! First birthday that I truly felt like an adult! First birthday I have ever had to work! Went out to dinner at Johnny Carinos, received some beautiful flowers from my hubby, yummy red velvet cake, and presents! Overall it was a great day!

We went to the Red Barn Pumpkin Patch while Emily was here and we brought along Boe's cute cousin Lesli. It was so fun picking our own pumpkins from a patch this year, I haven't done that since my family lived in California. Can't wait to have kids so that we can do all these fun activites with them!

School has Begun!

I am so happy to be back in school! I have been waiting all summer for this! Weird I know but I have been so excited for the Nurisng Program to start! I was so giddy on the first day of school! It was a little overwhelming at first but I am so ready for this! Got a 100% on my first test! My life consists of homework galor but its totally worth it. I had to buy 8 books for one semester and then recieved a whole box of 10 books on the first day of class! So thankful my husband bought me a sweet new backpack for the nursing program! This is going to be an exciting busy year I can feel it! I love it already and can't wait for clinicals!! So happy all my dreams are coming true!

Here's to the End of Summer

To end our summer Boe and I decided to go on one last trip. We went to Craters of the Moon, Sun Valley, and Boise! It was blast and was so nice just to be together just the 2 of us! I even loved the super long drive it was so nice to just talk. Craters of the Moon is so neat it was a little rainy and overcast but we loved it we did some hiking/walking and went through a huge cave. Sun Valley was beautiful we wish we had more time there and had brought are bikes. It is defenitly a place we will be going again! There are some huge/beautiful homes up there its so hard not to be envious! We walked all around the town, had some hot coco (it was cold), ate dinner and a cute resturant, window shopped, and went on a beautiful walk along the river. Boise was Hot but a ton of fun! We stayed with Boe's Uncle Jake and his family and hung out with them. Did a little shopping and bought a few things for a steal. I got a sweatshirt and a t-shirt for 87cents! And Boe got a few things for super cheap too! We ate at this really good Mexican Resturant (can't remember the name but it tasted a lot like Chipotle), we drove around downtown and I got to see the capitol. We went to go see Harry Potter 6 in Imax we were so excited and were in our seats and the movie started and then the projector broke! We were so not thrilled but at least we got our money back! And one of my favorites parts was I got to go to Forever 21!! I love that store and got a few cute things! The scariest part of our trip was on the way home we almost hit an antelope that ran out in front of us! (here are a few pictures of our trip...sorry they are all of me boe wouldnt get in a pic..and these are only from my camera more to come off of boes)

I love riding my bike! It is like a drug to me and so relaxing! I ride as much as I can! I love listening to my Ipod and feeling the wind in my face! It's my me time when I get to escape any troubles,stresses, or worries for at least 30 minutes. Im going to be real sad when winter comes and I cant ride for 5 months! But until then im going to ride my heart out! My upbeat song that gets me peadling right now is Miley Cyrus: Party in the USA. Cheesy I know but its catchy, upbeat, and I love it!

The Time Travlers Wife

I am currently reading this book and am loving it!! I love this unique love story. Its a little confusing for me at times with all the time travel but still a great story. Wish there wasn't the language in it. I am constantly getting out my black pen to scribble out the bad words. Wish there was a place that sold edited books. I cannot wait for Aug so I can see the movie! Plus I really adore Rachel McAdams as an actress. The Notebook is my favorite movie. I just know Boe is dying to take me to see this movie! I am hoping to get this book finished soon so that I can move onto my next book which is my Sisters Keeper. Love my carefree summer reading.

Earwigs yuck!

Could there be anymore more earwigs in Rigby Idaho. They are disgusting little insects who are everywhere in Boes parents house. Mostly in our bathroom we use. I am constantly finding 5 a night all over the bathroom in areas such as our toothbrush holder, in towels, the walls, shower, laundry basket..you name it they have been there. I get nervous everytime I pick something up. Its like WWII us against them. Killing them with H2O is my favorite war tactic. Can't wait for winter to be back so those little suckers will go away..

Our Long Overdue Honeymoon!

Thats right we finally went on our honeymoon after a year and a half of being married! I guess its technically not a honeymoon anymore! We decided to go to Orlando Florida and do the Disney World thing and it was a blast! We had so much fun and it was so wonderful just to be together and have some time to ourselves away from all the stress of life! The weather was absolutely gorgeous! I loved been in the warm sun surrounded by green! I am not a dry plains person and thats how eastern idaho is so it was a nice change of scenery. Boe is not a fan of the humidity though, I dont mind it. We stayed in a very nice hotel which was a nice perk. We had park hopper passes so we were able to go to all the parks. We went to Disneyworld, Disney Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Typhoon Lagoon, Disney Quest, and Downtown Disney, and on our last day we got to explore Orlando. We had so much fun at all of them! We just love the atmosphere at Disney! Some highlights were Splash Mountain of course, A rocking Aerosmith rollercoaster, Tower of Terror, snokerling with sharks and fish, Waterslides, Lots of 3-D shows, jungle safari so we got to see all kinds of animals, and so much more! It was a lot of walking so our feet were hurting and the end of each day but it was totally worth it! We were sad when we had to come home and hope we get to go back again!

Well its been awhile since I blogged so im going to be playing a little catch up. As you can see Boe is graduated..yay! He is still in the looking for a job process which we hope will be ending here shortly but who knows with the way the economy is these days. Boe still plans on getting is masters in the near future so he will be back in school in a few months to finish up a couple science pre reqs. I just finished up my last semester of pre reqs and am looking forward to a school free summer.. The Big News about me is that I got into Nursing School and will be starting this fall! I cannot wait and am so thrilled!! I will be finished July 2010! I have been working at EIRMC for a year now and am still loving it! I have been blessed with such a wonderful job that has helped me learn and grow in so many ways. I know that I will be a confidant nursing student and a great nurse because of it! We are both so happy to have a more carefree summer this year and spend some more quality time together. We have been married a year and a half now and are more in love than ever! Boe is Finally an offical BYU-I allumni! He graduated this spring with his Bachelors! Graduation was great it was such a wonderful experience to be there! He is the first grandson to graduate from college on both sides of his family! And he was asked to give the closing prayer! I am so proud of him!! He has worked so hard these past 4 years and its finally paid off! He is so thrilled to be done for a little while and see whats next! I know that he can accomplish anything his heart desires, he is going to do great things! And we can't wait to see where life takes us next!!

These pictures are from my Birthday back in December! The Moons shoot I mean Donats came with us to Applebees to help me celebrate! Lauryn is one of my closest friends from back home in Chicago, we were in the same stake. They are moving to Texas in about a week and it just breaks my heart! She is my last girl friend from Chicago left here in Rexburg ( all my others already left me December). But we are so excited for them it will be a great experience but we will miss them so much! We have loved spending time with them over the past 2 years! Love you guys!

I love Valentine’s Day! It’s probably because I am a hopeless romantic and doesn’t help that I was raised on Disney Princess Movies and thought that everyone lived happily ever after and that someday my prince would come! I love the red, the pink, the flowers, the candy; I love everything about this holiday! Even though we should always show our love for our loved ones I have always loved that there is a day dedicated to it! I also love this month because Boe and I got engaged just a few short days after valentine’s day (we were apart on v-day)I just hope that I can show Boe just how much I love him and how special he is to me! Well we are now in a new semester and wishing it was over already! Boe is in his last semester at BYU-Idaho (finally) we are excited for him to be graudating in April! Than its decision time for him! Brittany is in her last semester of pre reqs. Her application is in for nursing school, now we just have to wait ( we wont know until April if she gets in). We moved out of our apartment in Rexburg in Jan and our temporarily living in Boes parents basement saving some money before we move again. We just need Boe to find a good job first. Thats about it for what has been going on with us! We are excited for the new year and can't wait to see what 2009 holds in store with us! Hopefully all good things!

Just a Little Update

Just thought I would give a little update on the Gilstrap Family! Brittany is finally done with school and loving it! All her classes went very well! She is now preparing to take the TEAS again on the 20th! Boe is finishing up classes this week and preparing to start applying to masters programs. We are trying to find an apartment in Idaho Falls, sad to be leaving rexburg and our wonderful neighbors the Treasures but it is time to move closer to Brittany's school so she doesnt have to do the 40 minutes travel to school/work everyday. Right now we have the Cold Bug in our home (no fun!) so we have been taking it pretty easy!Mother Nature finally caught up with this part of Idaho and we got our long over due snow! Time to put on the snow tires! But other than that things are wonderful! Just loving life and can't wait for the Holidays! Whew 5 posts in one night!

11 Days till the Blotter Christmas Extravaganza Begins!! Can't wait!! This will be the first time our whole family has been together in over a year!! And its Boe's first Christmas with my family!! I can't wait for it! I love our family traditions and I cant wait for him to be apart of them! And can't wait to have our first Blotter Christmas with a grandbaby its going to be so much fun! I love Christmas so much it is my favorite time of the year! I love the spirit about it, the music, the lights, the smells, the food, family, the snow, christmas movies, I could go on forever about everything I love. I have always loved the Christmas story in Luke and doing our little christmas program on christmas eve and singing songs by the piano. I also think that it is important not to loose the spirit of Christmas and realize its not just about the presents, Christ should be at the center of your Christmas. I have loved being in Primary and singing all the Christmas songs with the kids! What a wonderful time of year!

So who knew my husband was such a good and creative cook! Even when we were dating he once was napping on our apartment couch one sunday after church and dreamed up a new recipe, it was weird but tasted great after we put his dream to reality, we call it Chicken Pot Weirdo! His new kick is homemade pizza. He loves pizza and decided to start making his own. He loves making Brooklyn style pizza. I must say my hubby makes one delicious pizza! Well this is a couple weeks late, but here are a couple pictures from our anniversay...no there are none of us because boe was being a little stinker and wouldnt take a picture with me but i did manage to take some pictures of our cake and the beautiful flowers he gave me!

So Boe gave me beautiful flowers, can you believe he made this arrangement himself! What a sweetie! And there were 12 roses for the 12 months we have been married. And our cake was surprisingly not freezer burnt and it was actually really good! We always hear how everyones cake is disgusting a year later but not ours! I think that it was the best layer of them all!

Emilys Visit!

So this is a few weeks old but i still wanted to post it! My awesome cousin emily came to visit us a few weeks ago. She is going to college at Utah State right now. Well we just had a blast having her here! She is so fun and it was great to have some girl time...also my other cousin Ian came and stayed with us for the weekend to so we could all hang out together. It was great for Boe so that they could play there new xbox game together! Needless to say they stayed up more than half the night! Overall the weekend was a blast! So about a few weeks ago we went to the movies with Boe's parents and saw the movie Fireproof. I must say it was such a good movie! It is about a couple who's marriage is in trouble and how the husband does this 40 days of love journal to get them back together.It also talked about how Heavenly Father is always their for you and he can help you do anything. I think it is a great movie for people who are married and in relationships. It was such a great uplifting movie I recommend it to everyone!

This is for you Sayward! So lets see August has been a very fun busy month. My trip to Illinois was a blast! Door county was beautiful and so much fun! My mom, brother, and his girlfriend and I went to Nauvoo and it was such an amazing, uplifiting, and spiritual experience. We went to the temple and saw the Nauvoo pagent. It was just a perfect day and really redified the importance of temple work and geneology. We did have some not so fun car trouble but it was all worth it! It was sad to leave when it was time to go but it was so great to see my parents and sisters and brother. Can't wait till Christmas! The trip home was pretty rough. I took the salt lake express home and it broke down. We were on the side of the road for an hour and half with no A/C and the rest of the trip had no a/c either and i was in the back! soo miserable. but it felt so great to be home with Boe! He was so cute, he decorated the apartment and it was so clean and he had a bouquet of flowers! i just love him! I started school 3 weeks ago and its been good to get back! Life has gotten busy and stressful again but in a way i actually kind of like it. I take the TEAS in a couple weeks and i am getting pretty nervous! I finished breaking dawn 2 weeks ago and I thought it was really good! I have never wanted to be a vampire so bad in my entire life! I also finished the Memory Keepers Daughter and it was so good but so sad at the same time. Well the newest news is that i chopped off 6 inches of my hair! I love it! Next step is going blonde again! I will try to post some pictures soon~

Well my Chicago Trip is soon approaching! I am getting soo pumped for it! I just know it is going to be a blast! I can't wait to be reunited with the fam! I just wish Boe was able to come too! I am going to miss him soo much!! We will be apart 10 WHOLE days!! This willl be hard and weird because we have not been away from eachother since we have been married! I am just so excited to give him his surprise before I leave! I'm so proud of it! There are also a few things that I am sooo excited for that are in Chicago! So here are a few of my favorite things:

1. My family of course! Can't wait to see them!

2. Can't wait to see Tori and Haylee!!! Becca I so wish you were going to be there too!!

3. I am excited to go to Door County with my family! It will be a nice little Getaway!

4. Totally cannot wait to eat at Chipotle!!! It is one of my all time favorite places! Yummy!!

5. I hope I get a chance to do a little shopping at one of my favorite clothing stores!

6. I also do love Panera Bread! They have the best soup bread bowls and bagels!!

Just A Little Update

Well its about the middle of July and we have had a lot going on this month. Today was Boe's last offical day of his summer semester!! He is so excited to finally be done but is already dreading his fall semester. I am so proud of how hard he has worked this past semester he has been such a trouper. We are also excited to have some new neighbors here soon! Boe's cousin and his wife are moving right next door. It will be a fun semester next to them. I am also getting pretty pumped to be going back to Chicago at the end of this month it will be so fun to hang out with everyone, we havent all been together since my wedding.The job is going pretty good just wish i worked more hours and didnt get put on call so much, so thats a little frustrating. Well on a sad note we found out on the 4th of July that Boe's grandmother has multiple myeloma. This was such a hard day but it also made me so thankful for eternal families and that I am so grateful and blessed to have a husband who holds the priesthood and is able to give blessings. This also hit home to me because my mothers mom also passed away from this same type of cancer. Its so hard because I have become so close to her and she has done so much for me and for Boe. But I do feel very honored to have my mother in-law and her dad ask me to come help take care of her. We are hoping and praying for the best.

Who proposed? Boe did on a trip to see me in Chicago at the Signature room! My ring came out on a silver platter (It was my dessert) I was shocked and he got down on one knee. It was amazing

Who is more sensitive? Me but it depends on where we are at in the month...some months I'm a huge boob and cry a lot

My Brown Hair

So i know I should have posted a picture a long long time ago since I did dye my hair back in Feb (Sorry Amy). But I dyed all my hair dark brown for the first time this winter. I loved it and it was fun and im glad I had the guts to finally do it! But now im ready for a change and so is boe (He wants his blonde wife back). So it wont be brown for to much longer. I dont have like any pictures of me with the brown hair but I did manage to find one its black and white but hey you get the picture. So here you are family!!

No More School!!!

Well I am finally done with school this semester!!! Thank goodness!!!! That was the longest semester. No comes the tricky part of figuring out the next step and school possibilities! Cant wait to have this part of life all figured out. Im also excited/nervous cause my new job at the hospital starts on Monday! We are also hoping to be moving in our new apartment soon, its somewhat at a stand still now. But we cant wait to have some extra space and redecorate! Boe's new semester is going rather well, he is just very busy with 18 credits and all. Im hoping to see the fam soon im getting pretty homesick for them!! well thats about it~ time to go grocery shopping with the hubby!

Hello From Idaho!!

Just thought we would finally write on this thing and let everyone know how we are doing! Well we are both still going to school. Brittany is at ETIC and getting ready to apply to the nursing program this year. Boe is at BYU-I for 2 more semesters and majoring in Business. We are both so ready for summer to be here! Brittany just got a new job yesterday and is so thrilled about it! She will be working at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center as a CNA. We are currently living in Rexburg at Main st. and will be moving to a bigger apartment in may. We are loving life right now and have been so very blessed these past 5 months of marriage. We are so greatful for the gospel and to have a temple so close by. A few weeks ago we received a joint calling as teachers in the Sunbeams! We will be teaching our first lesson this week! We are so grateful for this calling! I am so excited for Boe to finally experience primary! Well that about wraps it up for us!! Basically we love being married!
